Irish registered Tierney Births
Registration of Births, Marriages, and Deaths in Ireland commenced in January 1864. The following are a listing of Tierney (and variations of the the spelling of the surname) births. If a certificate is required for an individual it is essential that the place of birth and the Registration District is known.
There is is a copy of a General Register Office request form on the Forms Page, that may be used to obtain a birth, marriage or death photo-copy of an entry in a register. The numbers in columns 4 and 5 below are those required in respect of Volume No. and Page No. on the form.
The line on the form commencing with the word 'Quarter' refers to the Marriage Registers. The earlier registers are divided into quarter years.
As a facility, to Clan Members ONLY, the Clan Organiser will provide a service of obtaining photo-copies of birth entries from the registers.

The form can be copied and sent to the Clan Organiser, Cathaoir Ó Tighearnaigh, Naomh Antoine, 53 Ard Aoibhinn, Athenry,
Co. Galway, Ireland, together with the appropriate fee and plus €2 to cover the cost of return mail. It will be essential that the form be complete in every respect and that the details given are 100% correct. Incorrect details may mean an incorrect copy and the
Clan Organiser cannot be held liable or responsible for an incorrect photo-copy as a result of incorrect information supplied. So it is most important that one is very sure of one's facts before requesting a photo-copy of a register entry.
